Please sponsor us in the Guide Dogs challenge

Two years ago, a team from Battle Flatts braved the wilds of the Talybont Challenge in deepest darkest Wales. This year we are back with a new team and some form of fitness and ready to take on the Coniston Challenge.
The lucky few who are taking part in this are Matt & Clare Brash, Diana Stanton, Katie Limb, Leeanne Hirst and Nick Blackburn. This event takes place annually at both Coniston and Talybont. The purpose is to raise money for the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association. This money will go towards funding new dogs and equipment so it is a very worthy cause.
The event is as follows :-
Mountain biking round a 17km route of beautiful lake shore lanes, rugged forest roads and long flowing descents on the fast single-track trails of Grizedale forest.
Kayaking around a 3km lap of Coniston Water on our sit on top kayaks.
Hiking a 10km route to the summit of the famous 'Old Man of Coniston', 803 metres above sea level.
All of this has to be completed in 10 hours.
Each team has to raise £2500 for the charity so please if you can donate something either pop into one of the surgeries or donate online by clicking the link above.
